 Question:

How do I know when the LifeStraw has filtered the 264 Gallons (1000 liters) and is used up?

The LifeStraw will stop drawing water through the filter after 1000 liters of use. You can tell when you are reaching the 1000 liter limit when it becomes very difficult to suck water through the straw. When you are no longer able to suck water through the LifeStraw it has reached the end of it's life.
